The town of Mürzzuschlag and the WGM are situated in the upper eastern
part of the Austrian province of Styria. This area - the valley of the
rivers Mur and Mürz - has traditionally been an industrial area,
offering a favourable situation with regard to road and rail links. It
has access to all the important Austrian and European motorways and railroad
netways. Moreover it is situated at a central position between Vienna,
Italy, Germany and Slovenia.
